The first candidate is Save the Nail 45 Second Top Coat.
I had never heard of this brand before seeing it in Boots on a quiet Thursday. Reading the blurb it seems to be some sort of offshoot of Nails Inc so I was quite hopeful when I handed my money over and excited to put it to the test.
Sadly, for me, this is not a keeper. Seche Vite is thick enough to makes my nails feel stronger while it's on, this one does not, I could still bend my nails a little while wearing it.
It didn't wear well either, my polish started chipping round the edges about half way through the week and, even on the first day of wear, the finish wasn't as glossy as Seche Vite.
I have seen quite a few good reviews of this on other blogs and the Boots website so obviously some people are having better luck with it than I did!

I tried this and didn't love it but randomly had better luck with their Wet Look Top Coat which actually dries better and faster?! I'm also on the hunt for a Seche Vite replacement and the Wet Look coat is the only one I've repurchased!
