... beauty: EOTD - Summertime smokey featuring MUG!

So the sun is out and while it lasts I intend to make the most of it!

Here is the simple, relaxed look I went for today:

Products used:
- Mally eyeshadow base from lashes to brow
- MUG eyeshadow 'Glamorous' pressed all over my lid and lower lash line then blended out along my socket line.
- MUG 'Corrupt' eyeshadow smudged very lightly along top lashes
- Mally Evercolor automatic eyeliner pencil 'Onyx' in waterline
- MUG 'Shimma Shimma' eyeshadow as brow highlight

Plus lots of mascara as always!

I hope you like it, it made me feel Summery :)

... beauty: Party ready!! Teal and gold EOTD

First of all, my apologies for being a bit of a sh*t blogger lately. Time and picture lighting have not been my friends.
However, I promise that I will pull my bloggy socks up so you can expect more regular posts in the future, including more EOTDs and a bumper, two months worth, Project Blade update!

I would also like to say a big thank you to my new followers - you are most welcome here :D

But now, regardez........

It's the same style of application as the Valentines look but I wanted to see how the technique could be used with different (brighter!) colours.

Mally lid primer on lids.
MUA eye pencil "Forest Green" along upper and lower lashes and into outer socket.
Max Volume (teal shimmer) from the Bare Escentuals Ready palette "The Playlist" blended over the green pencil
Remix (gold) from the same palette on the inner part of the lid and socket
MUG Shimma Shimma as a brow highlighter

Simple, wearable and a little bit festive!

... beauty: EOTD - red and gold smokey!

It's Chinese New Year!!!
Cue the gratuitous red and gold eye shot!

I'm afraid I couldn't resist! Not that I ever need much encouragement ;)
Here what I used:

1. Primer: Mally Beauty
2. MAC "Smoulder" pencil smudged along upper an lower lashes
3. Smoked out the black using Cranberry from MAC (this rhymes, it was not on purpose)
4. Blended out my socket with Glamorous from MUG
5. Highlighted under brow with Shimma Shimma from MUG
6. Added a little bit more intensity on the top lashes by blending in a little MAC Beauty Marked

I hope you like it - it made me feel festive!!
