... beauty: Project Blade - The Trimester Edition: Part 3...

If it 's good enough for the movies, it's good enough for my blog. A trilogy that is, and so we come to the final part.

Aussie Sprunch spray - Best thing for curls EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Aussie, what the F*CK??!! We use styling products in the UK too, you know!!
Would I repurchase? No, but only because I CAN'T!

Laura Geller Creme to Powder foundation in Bisque - I like this product, it has SPF 20, gives decent coverage and was a good colour match (Bisque) for my pale skin even though it looked crazy dark in the compact. Repurchase? Possibly.

Laura Geller Bronze 'n' Brighten mini - Quite dark but I was able to use it for contouring in spite of my paleness. Repurchase? No, it contains talc.

MAC Innuendo eyeshadow - Lovely subtle taupe with a hint of shimmer, great for socket contouring. Repurchase? No, it contains talc.

Dove Pro-Age deodorant - Worked well enough but still made my underarms itchy and, even though I thought it smelled nice to begin with, after about a week I couldn't stand the smell! Repurchase? No.

Pro Strong Pro Moist hand cream - As you can see when I finish a product I really finish it! I bought this from QVC thanks to the promise of the hand cream keeping your hands supple even after hand washing. Sounds great, right? My hands still cracked this Winter so, no.

Decleor Ylang Ylang night balm - I love Decleor. I love the clarity this gives my skin. It also smells byoootiful.  Will I repurchase? If I can find a good deal, definitely. If not, probably.....

I hope these posts have been of interest. I already have more to add for my April update!

I think Blade would be proud........

... beauty: Project Blade - The Trimester Edition: Part 1.......

I have excuses but I'm not going to give them. Busy stuff, sad stuff, that's it.

However, my lack of posts does mean that I have quite a few empties to share so I have decided to split up the posts and extend the reading pleasure, rather than bombard you and your internet with relentless pictures.

Today we have:

This picture is terrible. I'm sorry.

From the left:
- Charles Worthington Daily Treat conditioner, travel size.
I really like this conditioner but, on top of trying to avoid silicones, I am not even sure that you can still buy this

- Gliss Shea Cashmere shampoo with Liquid Keratin
Again, a great product. This one is still available for the bargain price of £1 from Savers and 99p/£1 stores!

- Dove Intensive conditioner, free sample with Marie Claire
If I do give up on the 'cone free lifestyle this will be one for the shopping list; rich, hydrating and widely available :)

I hope that, in spite of the appalling photography, this was of some interest.

Happy Friday!!

... beauty: Project Blade.....

For those of you who are reading and wondering what the f@!$ I am going on about there is a scene in Blade 3 where Jessica Biel is upset and angry (no spoilers here!) so, rather than letting her wallow and break down, Blade tells her with great conviction "Use it"

Do you see where I'm going here? Possibly not, I am being rather random and far reaching, even for me.

To make things clear, this is my own use-sh*t-up project and rather than having specific item goals like project 10 pan, etc, the theme of my little venture is, simply, use it.

See, I got there in the end!

Anyway, I certainly have been using it this last couple of weeks.
So far I have finished a sample tube of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation (glowing review to follow) and a MAC eyeshadow (Innuendo) and a Bare Escentuals Buxom gloss (Dolly) are sounding their death rattles.

I will post pics of all my empties at the end of the month (year!!) and welcome any comments or compadres on this little journey of mine.

Project Blade is a go!!
